What they have said about "Weekender"...
Dear Gene,
Phil and I are so grateful for all of your help with our son. He had the best time this weekend and told us about all of his fabulous experiences--the alpaca, the ropes course, your driving experience, the movie, and more. He only wished the program could have been longer.
Harry is often excluded from parties and teased at school, but at Summit, he is accepted for who he is. He told us that I should sign him up for every weekender for the year. So, please enroll him for the upcoming programs. Do I need to fill out another enrollment agreement or shall I just mail a check tomorrow am to the office?
Again, the wrap around program you are offering these kids brings tears to my eyes. To hear Harry talk about his experiences and show us emails and phone numbers of friends that he met--well, Gene--you just can't put a price on that. Thank you for seeing the best in our son and creating this extended family for all of these kids.

Thank you, Summit (Sally!) for the great weekend JT had at Pinegrove. It sounded like so much fun, I want to go with our family.
He became very friendly with his roommate, Zach, which is wonderful!!!

Hi Gene,
Thank you for your note and reminder. As recently new members to camping and the Summit Camp, my kids Paula & Max were delighted to participate in the Weekenders... Paula for 2 and Max for 3 months to date. The feedback so far has been... "the counselors are super cool and fun and nice, you get to choose the activity you want to participate in, and meeting new kids was a lot easier than expected." Max has difficulty staying focused in school on those departing Friday's, as he watches the clock all day just waiting for camp time.
To her surprise and our delight, Paula has made new friends, some of which she now refers as BFF's. They are both thrilled and proud members of Summit Camp and are anxiously awaiting the next Weekender. Based on our schedule, I'm hopeful the kids can participate next, perhaps in February, but definitely in March. And hopefully for a longer stay this summer. Many thanks to you and your lovely staff for all you do for the kids.
