Michael DiLillo is the Area Co-Director with his wife Jenny for the Colorado Summit Camp Weekenders program. They have a 13 year old son with NVLD, which has provided the opportunity to become very familiar with the challenges of a child with a learning disability. The Weekender program provides a wonderful opportunity for young people to make like minded friends, learn the skills necessary to get along, and to have loads of fun along the way.
Michael is president/owner of Gigshowcase.com, a website and software development company. He has also organized several non-profit events in his area.
Michael has extensive experience in the teaching of outdoor oriented skills such as camping, backpacking, rock climbing, map, compass, and GPS. He also enjoys cycling, skiing, playing harmonica, and performs with his two dogs in canine entertainment shows for special needs kids.
Jennifer, along with her husband Michael DiLillo, is the Area Co-Director for the Colorado Weekender program. Jennifer is a devoted parent to a special needs 13-year-old and works with her rural school system to structure programming for his unique requirements. Jennifer has over 19 years’ experience in outdoor mountain recreation (skiing, biking, hiking, and backpacking). As an attorney for a local government, she has extensive administrative experience working with programs serving at-risk and underprivileged youth. She loves working with special needs kids and is thrilled to be involved in providing much needed social skills programming directed at these kids.
