Meet Vickie Thomas!

Vickie Thomas - Metropolitan Chicago and surrounding areas

 

Vickie is the Area Director for Summit Camp Weekender Chicago. She and her son have lived in the Elgin area for over 20 years. Teaching preschool for a not for profit agency, Vickie enjoys working with at risk little ones and watching them develop and grow.

 

Vickie has earned her Masters in Special Education through National-Louis University and her bachelor's degree at High Point University in High Point North Carolina.

 

Camp holds a special place in Vickie's heart. She has directed special needs camps and scout camps for over 13 years. She is an American Camp Association Standards visitor as well as an Accredited Camp Director. She looks forward to developing a fun and exciting Weekender program for the teenagers of the Chicago area.
